I spent most of July buzzing around Finland. One week here, a few days there. I wasn't supposed to have anything to do this summer, but stuff kept coming up and I kept saying "yes". The best summers happen like that.

Summers are for travelling, so there'll be a little pause over here. If any of you know anything about this Glossom-thing give me a shout. I've been sent an invitation, but I'm not sure I want to join just yet. I'm a student-to-be, not a career builder.

Is it just me, or was it a cold June this year? We had some of that hazy, rainy weather that I love. I dug up the good old Lomo LC-A and took some shots. It wouldn't wind the film, so I only got 11 exposed frames on a roll of 36.

I keep telling myself: It's not like this is the only type of thing I'll ever do in my life. It's okay to be cliché and naïve. This is just a cut-section of my life as it is now, in this time.

Another month or so and I get to be in this place again. I'm taking someone with me there and it makes me nervous. I don't want us to get there only to find he doesn't see any point in watching the waves rolling in and out.
